McNamara Chiropractic ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website, fill out an appointment request form, or interact with our advertising — and how we use and protect that information.

HIPAA Notice. This Privacy Policy describes website and advertising data practices. It is not our Notice of Privacy Practices, which describes how we use and disclose your protected health information (PHI) under HIPAA. 1. Information we collect

When you use our website or submit a form, we may collect:

  • Contact information you provide: name, email address, phone number, postal code, date of birth, and any details you include in form fields or messages.
  • Website usage information: pages viewed, scroll depth, time spent, referring source, browser type, IP address, device type, and click identifiers from advertising platforms (Google gclid, Meta fbclid).
  • Cookies and similar technology: a first-party cookie set by our tracking system (adsidian_id) lets us measure ad effectiveness and stitch your visit across pages. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

2. How we use your information

  • To schedule and confirm your appointment.
  • To follow up with you by phone, text message, or email about appointments and care. By submitting our contact form you consent to receive these communications. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time (see Section 6).
  • To measure the effectiveness of our advertising so we can reach more people who could benefit from our care.
  • To improve our website and services.

3. How we share your information

We share limited, generally cryptographically hashed identifiers with the advertising platforms that referred you (Meta and Google) so they can attribute your appointment back to the ad you saw. The information shared with these platforms is hashed before transmission — they receive a one-way fingerprint of your email and phone, not the values themselves — and is used solely for advertising measurement and optimization for our practice. We do not sell your personal information.

We use the following service providers to deliver our website and follow-up communications: Adsidian / Prism (server-side tracking), GoHighLevel (CRM, scheduling, SMS/email), Meta and Google (advertising). These providers process information only on our behalf under their respective terms of service.

4. Health information

Information you submit through our website — including symptoms, conditions, or reason for seeking care — may be considered protected health information under HIPAA once it enters our patient records. We treat that information in accordance with HIPAA and our Notice of Privacy Practices. We do not transmit specific diagnosis, condition, or treatment details to advertising platforms.

5. Data retention

Patient health records are retained as required by Georgia law and HIPAA. Website analytics and advertising-attribution data are retained for up to [RETENTION PERIOD — typically 13 months for ad measurement] and then deleted or anonymized.

6. Your choices

  • Stop receiving SMS: reply STOP to any text from us.
  • Stop receiving email: click "unsubscribe" in any marketing email.
  • Stop seeing our ads: use the Meta ad preferences and Google Ads settings on those platforms.
  • Browser-level opt-out: most browsers let you clear cookies or enable Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control signals. We honor Global Privacy Control for users in jurisdictions where it is legally recognized.
  • Access, correct, or delete your information: contact us at the email address in Section 8.

7. Children

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 without parental consent. Pediatric chiropractic care is provided only with parental consent and a parent's information on file.
